Nice read Bill on LaFontaine, Bill. The harder-ass Don, as opposed to the 'breathy' take n La Fontaine I did.

Of course, I doubt you have to tryand sound like anybody. If anything, we're also trying to sound like you. Great pipes, and since '68, eh? You're one of the originals....

Cheers,

OK...I've been sick for three weeks, so I have missed out on most of the fun...

But I'm tossing mine in anyway.

Let me know what you all think.

Love it, Bill and Brad.
Poor Don..there are people here who sound more like him than he does.
Laughs on your ending, Brad.
Thanks, both.

Some are quite good....anyway I've been with voice 123 since Nov. 2006. and still waiting for some kind of response good or bad......I need the money.....Please feel free to give me you're thoughts on this, although this is not the usual stuff I do.....I thought it would be fun to join along....regards,,David Beauchesne

First it was Pablo Francisco. Then, NBC Dateline. Now, Geico. One Man. Exposed. The King, is back... and bigger than ever. Don LaFontaine! This time, it's for real.

(Don, we're not worthy).

Actually, my voice is more vibrant in the morning, like 6 or 7:00 am. Well, now it's 1:00 am and I find myself doing this... Wink

Here's my take on it. I'd be glad to hear some feedback. Plus, I just uploaded my new demo, feedback on that would be great too. Thanks for this fun idea!

Man....this thing just won't die, will it?
But it's still a kick to hear everyone reading the same text with so many interpretations. Why don't you guys head over to Demo of the Day from time to time, where we do the same thing with the day's auditions?
It's quite instructive. And similar to this exercise.
That was a pretty neat Godfather cum Eeyore cum Lafontaine hydbrid there, Scott.
And Lance wed that music perfectly to the text.
Enjoyed yours, too, Ed.
You know that Vic Harris sent a compendium of all the Lafontaines to The Don himself, and that even Don L has read the text? It's on a separate thread as Final Don Lafontaine.
Check it out.
Voice On!
