Demo production

I'd like to offer any newbees out there demo production services. Send me your favorite auditions and I'll pick out the highlights, assemble and process them to make them sound as professional as possible for $50. As far as my credentials... I've was a radio Production Director for 20 years and have been in the business for 30 total. I could use the extra cash and help some folks out at the same time. Yes, the price is "to help out." Since I posted so much produced stuff today, I thought I might pick up a little cash and help a brother out. I'm sure I'll have few if any takers anyway. Who knows though, maybe I'll become a legend and raise the price to $100.

Well, Colin....I'm totally BROKE at the moment. I just got thru buying all the equipment to create my studio with....not to mention that my husband and I drag race, and the season starts this weekend, so we have sunk a lot of money into the race cars getting them ready. But the minute I have some money to spare, and a few more demos to mix, I'd LOVE to take advantage of your services! I'll be giving you a shout for sure!

Well, so far I've done them for Anthony Williams, Robert Bair, Keith Milby, Phil McCullough and a few others. So check out their pages at V123 and let me know. It's cheap at $50 for Savvy membors! At this price I don't make a killing at it. I'm just trying to help while still getting something for my effort and build a reputation as the Savvy member that can do production.

Wow! I've listened to your production work, and I will definitely be utilizing your services! How much content should I send you for a 60 second demo? I assume that I should include a variety of styles to make a nice montage. Do I send you dry voice only? I'm still getting my feet wet in this industry, and I appreciate folks like you who are willing to share your experience and help us newbies learn!

Yes you want a variety of delivery styles or any characters you may do. Each clip should be quite short in the final demo, just a few seconds so I'd recommend 10 or more pieces. You send me the full spots and let me pick the best phrase from each one. If you want to put music behind that's fine but what I've been doing for folks is adding the music for them since I have a nack for the right music for each piece. I take each piece and "produce" it then put them together and scope them down and add some audio processing to make them sound "big." Then I add a little "slate" for intro and outro.

Colin, I'll be utilizing you as well not too long from now....I just have to get the extra 50 bucks to pay you first. This month is not good, but after that. I really really need a new demo. I'm still running off my original demo because I can't afford to get another one done. It will be very beneficial for me to have you produce one for me and I can afford to do it. Thanks man.
