Thanks for sharing that with us.
Bob's story is really interesting and as you noted in the interview he's one of the good guys in the business.
No body could replace Mel Blanc -- but Bob and others are doing a great job carrying the torch forward.

Thanks for posting Dave. It's always great to hear Bob's voice as well as yours were you nervous doing the interview?
Have you been to slughugs.com recently? The website's looking good. I'm waiting on my copy of the book have you received yours yet? Here is latest news I got....... Hi everybody:
Sebastian's just about ready to make his 'media' debut.
With just a small amount of fine tuning he'll be seen on Time
Warner Cable's (Nickelodeon/ Animal PLanet/ Cartoon
Network/ ABC Family) for starters and move to a national
campaign as book/ product sales permit. Air date: July 2008.

Just got back from Florida today...yesterday the wife and I did the Carousel of Progress at WDW, I realized that I had never seen it before in 22 off/on years of visiting WDW...and was tickled to hear both Mel and June Foray (for a few seconds anyway) in the audio-animatronics. I guess since it was for the NY World's Fair that the voices would have been recorded around 1963-64, which was around the end of the classic WB toons era, before they were resurrected by Depatie and Freleng under Seven Arts (shudder)...but it was great to hear Mel, always is.
