I am so stoked to know you are all gonna be there. I hope that anyone on the fence decides to make it, cause who knows if there will be another VOICE conference? I am really looking forward to meeting everyone. I am honored to be working with the staff of VOICE, and here's some extra info you may find helpful that's happening:

The LA vo commuinity is really gearing up to attend this event. I am really looking forward to rubbing elbows with everyone. The red carpet event should be amazing.

1. Tech Talk Terrace – Is a place for people to go and get help from other attendees. It will be in the Exhibit Hall and will be open whenever the Exhibit Hall is open. Anyone can stop by to either get help or give it – or just talk “tech”

2. Recording Booth – provided by Vocalbooth.com and operated by Dave & Dave. This is a fully functional booth with ISDN lines or phone patch. The recording booth will be located in the Westwood Room. Participants just need to book the time with Dave & Dave. No need to miss any gigs just because they aren’t in their home studio!

3. Promo Panel Addition – Melissa Disney has been added to the Promo Panel on Sunday afternoon.

4. Private Lessons – There is now a list of all the coaches who will be offering private coaching at VOICE 2008. It’s recommended that people book their time with these coaches prior to the event (by email or phone), but they can book onsite as well by visiting the presenter’s booth. Penny will be sending announcements on this . There are 13 coaches making private coaching lessons available!

Registration is increasing. There are attendees from all over the world, even Australia!! One note of info - the hotel's deadline for the discounted room rates is July 10th, and folks have until July 31st to reserve their place at the banquet.

We have another A-Team conference this week, I'll try to post more updates as we learn of them.

PS- I am so excited...Linda Bard, (from Portland) is one cool v/o lady I met at last year's event (we hit it off right away---like we knew each other from high school or something) emailed me this AM and said she's coming. Yay!

Besides, I left my days of having roomies a long time ago, with no desire to re-visit them.
