Hello everyone,
Joined the V123 team just last month after training for about six months. Sure hope this voice thing pays off. I've got too much invested to drop the whole idea. Looking to get some work soon. Meanwhile, I'm hoping for the snow and ice to thaw.

Welcome Paul,
These forums are the place to find the best info and have some fun, the money, well, read around and you'll get your answer. For me, the resources have more than compensated the sign up fee of the site.

Paul, I hope you are not in it for the money. At least not for a few (or maybe several) years. But it is FUN, and the community here is a fine group of human beings who all share a passion for voice. I don't think I've run into a finer, more helpful and encouraging bunch of people ever. Very little if any bickering like you find on a lot of blogs. Good luck.

Welcome to the forums. Smile I just moved away from the U.P of Michigan back in '05 when I graduated from NMU. Miss the state, but not the weather. Wink

Wow!!!

You are making me wish I had your voice. Of course that would probably be weird, your voice coming out of my pie hole.

Great Voice.

Well thank you all for the nice warm welcome. With all your replies, I'm glad I didn't get into this for the money. Wow, this must be an omen; as I sit here typing this, the radio is playing AC/DC's " It's a long way to the top if you want to rock and roll". How appropriate.
I'm honored to be able to discuss this profession I'm dabbling in with some of the masters.
Thanks

OK,

I have to apologize, it seems that my previous post was posted on the wrong topic. I have to stop watching TV while posting.

Again my apologies.

Oh, and welcome. I am new here as well.

Welcome, Paul
Your investment will come back, but only about a year after the warm weather does.
But what are you complaining about? 31 degrees?
Up here (Montreal) we plan beach parties when it gets balmy like that.

The company here is warm, though. You'll enjoy it.

God I hope so... and the weather too.
Hi Robert. Thanks again for listening to my demo a couple of weeks ago. Your constructive critisism was taken to heart along with a nice glass of Scotch. Thanks for the welcome.
