Let's hope we can come up with more than last week's pathetic two pages of L&R. Oh well, I suppose you can't post 'em if ya don't get 'em.

welp, haven't put anything up here in awhile, so how about this? Smile

We need an English speaking, sophisticated, sultry North American voice. Avoid inflection at the end of phrases. Voice needs to be strong, confident and sexy. Not aloof.

For all the listening pleasure I get there, Lee, I'll chip in.
They sought 'a big man showing his advancing age.'
I couldn't resist: they wanted a Poe read, and he's my favourite Teletubby. In addition, I coach the Ravens baseball team (5 wins; 5 losses; we can't beat Lakeshore. See www.hemmingfordbaseball.com)

Mel, that was great - it don't smell funny at all!

applaus

...there's nothing wrong with leftovers...
I hope you get the gig!

They look like a tough audience though....I got a 3, and the average was 3.8.

They said Flexible so I asked for more than the going price on this one.

Wasn't sure which take put first on this one.

Deby: That was GREAT! I'm takin a knee! ...Hope you get the gig.

You too Coliln. You guys are putting out some good stuff. I do have a question. If those are auditions, do you put mx beds on the ones you produce?

Ahhh, the old question. To produce or not to produce. I am a producer so unless they say otherwise, if it feels like it needs production to enhance my delivery it gets it. Mind you I only produce the "fun" ones. If it's a training video or something, it's dry.

It's worked out quite well for me. I've had several jobs where the audition was produced but they wanted the final product dry.

Some really great reads going on here today on this page. Colin, that's 2 of the best I've ever heard from you. I sat down to read the Library bond lead but let it go. I'm glad I did now after hearing yours.
