Ahhh Monday morning....
The sun is shining. The birds are singing. The melodic sound of Officer Connelly's nightstick rapping against my cell bars lets me know the weekend is over, my bail was set and it is time to start anew.
Till Saturday night sweet prince (I've got big plans), but for now voiceover calls.
"If you would like to speak to accounting, press one. For sales...."

Colin:
I stayed away from the $10K lead, mostly because lacking ISDN or something comparable, I don't have a practical method to work with them. Your delivery sounded very real and natural, but to me it didn't sound friendly enough. Not that they specified that quality but I just felt it missed that. You weren't too far off their average rating so you might have garnered a 3 from them even if you did everything 'right'. You do great work. (But you don't need me to tell you that) Don't let these guys get under your skin.

Anyone around here land the "X-Ray Man Gig" from a few weeks back? I keep looking around the TV for it but I don't think it's going to play in my market.
I've posted my audition for no good reason whatsoever.

Oh... it doesn't get under my skin, it's thicker than that. Just wanted to warn everyone that they are tough scorers.

DD and I posted that one as well... somehow we forgot to include that stuff at the end, Thom.

You mean the "rubber glove" and the Ad-Lib Tag? Nice read Michael/DD

I am living proof that it's possible to get a 3 star rating on the $10,000 gig
Also posted a Toyota spec ad. I guess these guys are presenting it to a group of Toyota's. I'd better get it! I know 190% my voice is perfect for the gig.

Simon:
Hooray for squeezing a 3 out of the rating mizers! That had a friendly touch to it as well. The Toyota read was just right. They'd be nuts not to take you (unless there's another Simon out there that works for less)
Here's one I tried this morning, a little bit gruff, not too growly.
Colin:
I tried Bob's Gas. It's posted on page 4 of L&R from last week in case you'd like to hear it (Bob the Dreamer)

Sounds good guys. I sent in the Toyota audtion since I already produce so many anyway. So much for "something different" for me but what the hell. They won't go for my price anyway. We'll see. Also sent in the SD Dot Construction thing as well but gave it a "Good Ole Boy" feel which will probably shot down quickly. It's a slow morning......
