I would like people to post what their rating percentage is under "personal stats". Just curious to know who all the big dogs really are 'round here. Then the rest of us can check their demo's out and see what makes them shine! I am at 75%...Thanks!

Well, Scott, I've been "ranked" as high as 80 and as low as 19...all within a few weeks time. So either the rankings' inconsistency makes it utterly irrelevant. Or you're just a big dog. For now. However you want to look at it. Laughing

Scott ~

Unfortunately, the "ratings" are total and utter drivel. They are meaningless and have nothing at all to do with the quality or professionalism in a voice-talent. They are an arbitrary number assigned by a voice-seeker for any number of reasons.

Your time would be better spent working on your craft, marketing yourself, working with a great agent and learning all you can. Don't worry about other people's "ratings" or your own on this site. They are meaningless.

What might help is also reading through some of the threads on ratings, and you'll see what I mean.

Have to echo Melba and Maxine. I haven't been rated in 6 weeks after 14 auditions. My average went from 56% down to 28% back up to 44%. The ratings mean zilch.

Submit quality over quantity and the private leads will come. (or so we hope)

Good Luck!

~Allison~

I've been as high as 62%, and lately the majority of leads I've been invited to audition for have been so unappealing that I have a pretty good (i.e. low) auditions to invitations ratio, which Voice123 claims should have a positive impact on my ratings. But a few jamokes have given me some 2s and 3s and even the odd 1 and, despite Voice123's assurances to the contrary, I can see no other reason that my rating should have dropped, but it has -- to 46%.

I was up in the mid eighties for a long time, until I got a 2 (the average score!) on that dreaded Washington Seatbelts spot. That, paired with a couple of threes sent me down to 29%. Makes little sense. Now I've crawled my way back into the fifties with a slew of 4 and 5s despite getting another 2 on a really poorly written and directed videogame project (where the average was 2.5!) that I never should have auditioned for as the script was very "New Age" but the direction was frankly non-existent.

In the future, I will only audition when the client makes their intentions clear.

In other words, the ratings may follow a formula as best as it can, but like most things in life it's imperfect.

The only thing I care about is that in the first two years with v123 I got loads of private leads and direct calls. Now I get nada through v123 although in "real life" I get more and more gigs. Go figure.

That's pretty low, too.
