Okay, so we're REALLY straying off-topic here, but I wanted to share some of my wife's amazing talents with you all. She's a very talented 3D animator and artist and is currently being considered for jobs at both Turner and the Weather Channel so she put together a demo over the weekend. Most of it is military since she works for a company that trains the military, but give this a look. It's about 5:00 long, but if you stick with it to the end, you'll see a photo of her toting a pretty impressive firearm!

Hey... Impressive stuff.
Kudos to your talented wife, Scott. I work with a guy who does some 3d work for the History channel, and it's not an easy job replicating reality.
More "Pants" comments - maybe we should start a Pants thread...
(Pants... Thread... I almost had a funny there son!),

Scott,
Great piece from an obviously very talented individual!!, But how disappointed I was....waiting.... and waiting for the Scott Pollak narration voiceover! What's up with that?? Could we steer her to Voice123 to get it done? |

Couldn't you talk her into using your music? |

Actually, Todd, she almost took the music she DID use off, and wanted to use this original piece by me, but I told her I actually liked the music she chose better. _________________ Scott R. Pollak

Very cool. It was like Myst all over again (that's actually a compliment since I loved Myst). How great to have the patience to do 3D rendering. I always want quick results, but I heard that the next Mac OS, Leopard, will have core animation functions that can take two 3D renderings in different positions and interpolate the intermediate animation. Made for people like me!
Is there any VO artist who doesn't like animation? By the way, I liked your music Scott. It too would have suited her 3D demo nicely. |
