On the Ten Project - they gave me a "4".
Avg is 4.5.

Colin: You're 16 million piece may be one of the best I've ever heard from you, and was one time that I thought a produced audition just rocked. That was stupendous! I wouldn't mind losing that one to you! Remember: a 4 is not a bad rating. But apparently it just wasn't the voice they heard in their head. See comments about Michael's below.

Michael: It's tough to listen to anyone's after Colin's, but honestly, I really liked yours too. I think your voice was a good fit as well, just from a different approach than Colin took. And obviously they agreed, based on the rating.

Travis: Equally as good as the rest. I'm noticing that the two produced spots got lower ratings. This is the risk we take. What if the music the producer already has picked is nowhere near what you guys used? Then your music may interfere with the producer really focusing on your voice. I know, I know.... we've had this discussion a MILLION times and I'm guilty of the occasional produced piece, too. I'm just saying.................

That Ten Project was sent to women too, but I didn't do it because the copy provided was obviously only for the man's part.

Colin's full production was very well done and entertaining, and Travis' sounded most Twilight Zonish, both excellent -- but I think Michael's sounded most sincere, sympathetic, softer -- probably what a piece on saving souls would go for.

Oh, Jacob -- I love this! It reminds me of the NPR show Click and Clack -- Car Talk guys. So funny. Great job.

Thanks Diane. You are so kind! As a kid my folks used to listen to the "Car Talk" show. I know a bunch of people hate those guys, but I have to admit they always sound like they are having fun.

I just checked... what a great voice seeker. They've posted projects in the past, and they've listened to every audition.

I want to work for them. Nice people.
