I'm wondering who got this gig?
I was contacted by the Voice Seeker, and he'd all but booked me, had me do a re-take, then dissapeared...no longer returning my emails. All this, after a phone discussion, and some directions on my retake. Go figure.
Needless to say, I was pretty PO'd at the time. But I'd still like to know WGTG? |

I didn't fall for it, Erik!
I wouldn't send the final version until at least HALF payment was made...
I later found out it went out to another VO, for $50 less...but I'm still wondering who...
You can hear it at www.marketheadquarters.net. Just click on any of the video interviews posted. The VO is the intro to the interviews. |

I told them I'd do it for $8.67 and a copy of the 1994 June issue of Playboy and a pint of Flesichmans vodka. Then I crawled out of my own filth and managed to belch out a recording for them.
I'm not proud of what voiceover has done to me. Even the crack whores outside make fun of me and won't talk to me.
I have to go read an audiobook now. The guys paying me off with Vicodin and cough syrup.
Please parents don't let this happen to your children. Don't let them grow up to be voiceovers. |

TOO funny, J.S.
At least it went to someone with a sense of humor!
...EASY on the Vicodin! _________________ JC Haze Voiceworks

Just for the record, you all know that my last post here was just me being funny and that I actually didn't do this gig.
I think JC wasn't sure, so I thought I would clarify that. The parts about working for drugs and stuff, that's all true. |

I can confidently say they made a mistake not going with JC Haze.
Now the whole site has the feel of "Interns R Us" with that young cheaper smarmy voiceover, the interviewer who doesn't know how to use a microphone, and the messy sound. _________________ BEAT LA!!! BEAT LA!!! BEAT LA!!!
