OK, I'll be first..
Anybody else try this one? It requires a trip to a studio in The Big Apple which will be worth it for a Yankee like me. It sounds a little rushed but that's after I skimmed few words out of the copy. They asked for 70 but I'm one of only 28 that they closed at. Whaddya think?

Dave,
Sounds good. I took mine a little slower, although it's a lotta verbage for 30 seconds.I figured if they like my voice..I can speed it up to make the 30 sec cut.
waddaya think?

Steve:
Your read is more appealing to me than mine. The seeker might have wanted more energy, but I'm not sure which style they want here. It's 45 seconds of soft sell copy requested in a 30 second package.

Dave:
It's a toss up. Either faster or slower, it's all subjective stuff.
If you get it, lemme know..
I'll take you down to little italy to my favorite place.

Colin -- It must be your big, booming voice. But you can't help yourself. I suppose when a client is willing to fork over as much as 200 clams, they expect the world.

I tried so hard not to "boon." You know, there are people with more "boom" than me.

Colin:
Boy, that was a tough rating for your audition. What could they be looking for? Whatever it is, they want a lot of bang for the buck,.....and very little boom! I thought you did great. Too bad they didn't appreciate it.
Steve:
I'm still at the stage where I post anything I get on WGTG. I'll be sure to let you know, hope you'll do the same.

Here are some leads from the past few days.
They rated me a 4 on the Astor read.
-------
The San Fransico Hotel directions:
Seeking professional male voice over artist with contemporary, confident, professional, friendly tone to voice promo spot for new San Francisco hotel. This voice over is for a short (:90) overview of hotel amenities that plays only in the hotel that is profiled. The audience is primarily the national and international business travelers who frequent the hotel.
------
Looking for a North American Narrator, opened but no rating.
--------
A 'confident professional male?' Their direction:
Imagine you're a lawyer. You've tried thousands of cases, gone up against the titans of Wall Street and have won. You have no doubt you can help these people retrieve their money. They just have to call...

JJ- I've been a fan of yours for a while now. The San Fransisco Hotel read made me want to hop on a plane & stay overnight.
I enjoyed the Astor read. It grabbed my attention the most b'c it sounded the sexiest. (just an opinion from a single gal)
How did you rate on the other auditions? Have you heard back from the seekers about them?
~Allison~
