Hi sweetie pie ~
I adore your voice! This is so well done! Clear, fresh, intelligent, modern, smart, natural. I like this every bit as much as I like your sexier stuff. It's really refreshing to hear someone who has such a natural talent.

Loved that read, September -- I not only want to send videos or whatever -- I want to take a bite of what ever it is you are selling!
Great job on the book spot, Scott. Has all the elements.
I thought I would put this one out here -- low budget but with potential for regular work.
Hard not to get sucked into that.
But this one also has that tough-to-say combination of "SH" and "S" as in "fabulous-Champagne."
Tried to say it.

Nice read on the Coushatta spot. Did they rate yours? (I got a 3.) I debated whether to tell them I used to do commercials and other things for Foxwoods Casino, but decided not to.

Michael:
I just submitted for the Mother's Day thing. Funny how you has a problem with 'fabulous champagne'. I had no problem with that, but I had a tough time with 'Coushatta Casino'. It kept coming out like Kashattoh Casino!
A bit of a tough rater, but it's the second time around for this audition. Why not?

Wow guys.
Some really nice reads on this one. I think Colin's is my fave. I'll chuck mine in for good measure...
I don't get to come into the forum much, but the past few days I've been here a bit. You're all an inspiration!

On the casino spot... I think there's a joke there. Take Mom to a casino for Mother's Day? I tried to be "tongue and cheek." Tough read talking about Mom? A dichotomy.
I don't think they wanted a Hallmark read on that.
But... what the Hell do I know?

Here's my "Springs Pizza"... Something wonderfully "local" and sincere about this spot - I just had to give it a shot...

That's the ticket Travis. I think that is the closest to what works.

Thanks so much everyone! That really helps boost my confidence. It's hard to trust your natural speaking voice, you know? I got a 5 on it so fingers crossed!!
Scott: great production on that spot!! Great read, too, but the gavel really caught my attention at the beginning as well!
Michael and David and Colin and JC: well done on that tongue twister! I never would have been able to get that out! That's going to be a tough choice because you each really brought your own energy and flavor.
John: that was a great, grizzled read. Very nice!
Travis: I honestly never thought of that copy that way but I liked your take on it!
