Thanks Scott... but as I suspected, I have no voice at all today. Laryngitis. A VO's worst nightmare.

It was fun while it lasted but alas for just a night.

Hey folks,
It's been quite a long time since I've ventured onto these boards but I really had to submit this because I was rather proud of it and it didn't even get opened; so I was hoping someone could listen to it so I don't feel like the whole effort was a waste. It was the "Wine Description" audition they asked for earlier in the week. I kept waiting figuring they might be waiting til the cut off and then listen to all of them together but I saw that they stopped opening at about 44% so I gave up hope. for those who didn't get it, it was 4 accents Scottish, German, Italian and French. I guessed on some of the pronunciations but all in all I thought it was worthwhile. Anyway....

Tim, I'm blown away. That is incredibly hard to do and I think your work here is excellent.

The seeker's loss not to have heard that. Well done!

Great job, Tim... you should be proud of it.
I received the invite for that one and didn't dare try it.

Hi Tim,

Well, holy smokes, you are….ummmm…really good! I just can’t believe that this wine demo voice-over audition wasn’t opened. That’s a travesty!!

However, that said, your demos on your V123 webpage are outstanding!

Just wanted to drop a note and compliment you on your expertise and command of so many different dialects. (Although I’m very sorry but as a Brit, it is apparent to me in your Brit reads that you’re not a Brit…your accent is good but the rhythm isn’t British…You Scottish rhythm is Scottish, but your British rhythm is American…) Your versatility and nuance are amazing and I’m so curious how you attained such a natural skill with dialects?

What a pleasure it was, listening to your demos!

And, I’m so taken by your expertise and all your different voices and demos, that it’s made me curious what you are like, as a person? Are you the soft-sell, interested, kind, involved, friend? Or are you the more clinical, educational, instructional guy? Or, are you the wild and crazy guy that’s emoting all over the place? Which guy are you? So intriguing to hear such talent!

Your demos are wonderful and I applaud your marvelous command of your craft. It was such an inspiration to me to listen to your demos and your wine demo. You hard work shows and I admire you for it.

Thanks for posting and introducing yourself to those of us that didn’t know you.
