Hello,

20-year media vet, fed up with the increasing responsibilities and decreasing salaries of corporate owned radio and tv, is finally attempting to realize his dream to work in pajamas full-time. Besides, I gotta find something to do on those dark, wet and wintry days. Wish me luck! I will post demo soon, and welcome your constructive criticism.

Regards,

Trey

Thanks Sabrina. I envy your British accent. Are you working in radio in Idaho? If so... where? I'd like to check out your show online. Best of luck to you.

Smile Hi Trey,
Thanks! I'm only in some radio commercials on radio stations in England believe it or not (long distance!) and one in Spain right now. I'm not a radio personality but just make some commercials and do all sorts of things from viral web commercials to audio books to characters for web sites and museum exhibits.. to video games. I've not tried to work locally. I just like having fun doing this. The people in this forum are a very nice bunch of people and very talented and willing to help each other out. I hope you enjoy visiting here and do even more work in your pjs.
Smile

Hey Dave,

I lived in Portland for three years. Great City. Living in Seattle now. Your name sounds familiar. Did you work for Bob Ancheta at Internetjock.com? Did a small stint with him myself from '01-'02.

I never worked with Bob, but I've heard his name in Oregon radio circles. I think I knew a girl who worked for him around the same time you did.

I did do a short part time stint in Seattle around '87. I don't think the station exists anymore... it was KKFX AM (1250 K-FOX). It was an urban station. The people who worked there were Alex Darby, Jonathan Blanks, a mid-day woman whos name I can't remember and Nasty Nes Rodriguez. Nes was with Sir Mix-a-Lot back in the day and has gone on to some minor acting roles... he's still a pretty recognized name in the West Coast rap/mix tape scene.

Don't know what ever happened to Alex & Jonathan... those names ring any bells for you?
