Hey Brad, Props to you for the Lionel gig. Mind if I ask what the name of the train in the script you won is? (i.e. Penn Central 1245, etc) Also, how did they ask you to record it? Anything unusual about it? I have a reason for asking and will post it after your response. Let's just say it's a sanity check on logistics.
Peace,
Bill

Way to go Brad. I was also invited to respond and was real excited because in real life I am a train engineer and talk on the radio almost daily. I got the invitation late that afternoon, but alas I was at work. When I responded early next morning I recieved an email that they had selected someone the evening before. I'm not trying to say I would have got the part, but I sure wanted it.

CONGRATULATIONS!

There's the link. Apparently it's already available. Smile

It's Southern Pacific 1996.

Actually, they had me record it over the telephone. Yup. You heard right. I recorded it right on the handset.

As far as I could tell, nothing unusual about the recording (except that I recorded it on the phone).

They took most of my first takes, and the two hour session was done in 40 minutes.

Pretty fun, all in all. Smile
