Hey hey hey everyone my name is Clinton Nobles and I am just starting out in the biz of VO. I am doing tons of research, but book knowledge is only good for so much. I am always up for corrective criticism and any helpful tips.

Think of me as a sponge . . . well, on further review of that statement I am neither yellow nor porous . . . really there isn't much akin to a sponge when viewed from such a standpoint. Even more so when the sponge is old and well worn by the grim of daily usage. These types of sponges are normally green from chemical mixes, distorted from inappropriate use, and finally not pleasing to the eyes at all. If any woman are reading this do not think of me as a old and used sponge (avoid the thought of a sponge at all) and if in your mind a sponge is now what I am, think of me as that Sexy sponge you enjoy showing off to friends and fellow employees. That sponge that makes supper for you after a long day of work and make sure to play your favorite song when you walk through the door. Yes if my fate is to be a sponge then this is the sponge that I am Very Happy

Thanks again and I look forward to getting to know you all quite well.

I will be posting some of my stuff soon.

Hey SpongeNob Square Dance,

I like a creative (even convoluted) introduction, and welcome to the shark tank, Clinton.
Couple of quick suggestions: on your Deliverance clip, do domething about that overlong intro. Nobody is going to sit through :13 of music before finally getting to your voice. And I'd rework that "Additional Skills" bit. Not that Seekers really read that stuff, but it does sound a bit like a Junior High composition on 'What I Did on my Summer Vacation.'
While we're at it, your other audio clip sounds very hollow and muddy. It may be overprocessed.
I did enjoy the Deliverance read, though.

Thank you very much for the suggestions. I agree with your overprocessed statement. I am reworking them as soon as I get back home. These were litterally my first attempts ever at recording and mixing. I have a lot to learn. I need to remember not to add my reverb and such until I am in multi-track view. This way it is non-destructive. I am trying to find books and instructionals on mixing and soforth, but not a lot out there for voice artist. THanks for the encouragement though. I shall keep plugging away at it Very Happy

Thank you for the song, it makes me feel so much better about being associated to SBSP . . . I mean now all I got to do is find a pink friend and visit them "EEEVVery day!" lol
