Hey, look! A rate question!

Hi guys and gals!

Some of you might have seen this over at TOS. A lead for the voice of a 100,000 watt AC radio station. They want a quote for per page or yearly. What in the world do you quote for something like that? I'm only the official voice of internet stations and stations in places like Istanbul and have NO CLUE!!

Depends on the market size September - in majors you can expect anywhere from 500.00 to 700.00 per month. In smaller markets as little as 250.00 per month on a retainer. A per page deal isn't a great idea from the talents perspective because you "lock yourself out" of the market for very little money. (All of my TV and radio clients are on contract... I try to avoid per page deals - though there is a per page clause in my contracts)
