Hey folks-

I want to put together some imaging demos. I currently do not have ANY imaging or sfx elements at all- I'm starting from scratch.

Now I've looked at the free sites that have been recommended here, and I really want something more professional and immediately usable than what those sites seem to offer. I'm willing to invest some $$$- can you steer me to some excellent websites, or particular companies which market these products? I want a good starter kit for producing my own commercials, promos and imaging in my home studio.

Thanks in advance for your wisdom!

Russ Reilly

Hi Russ -
I was just checking out the Sony Sound Effects products. The price seems reasonable for the excellent quality. I haven't been too impressed with the free stuff on the internet, and the Megatrax library is wonderful, but very expensive. These (from Sony) are really clean-sounding...

See what you think!

Good luck!

This is a link to a vendor on eBay that sells a Cd for $49.95

It's called Radiocactive and I have it. It particularly contains swooshes, explosions and all those wonderful imaging specific type sound effects.
