As long as Dave got paid with real money and not Sharper Image gift certificates. Earlier this year the company declared bankruptcy, partly due to nearly a billion dollars in lawsuits stemming from their sales of Ionic Breeze air cleaner machines, which apparently don't actually do anything. Once under Chapter 11, they stopped accepting gift cards for a while. They recently started accepting them again but only when applied to purchases at least double their face value.

Colin-

In response to your question, I believe I was paid fairly and have actually done a few custom recuts since the initial spot. The woman I've dealt with at Bid4Spots was wonderful, as was the guy with Sharper Image. They've paid in a timely manner.. and not with gift cards.

I hope the best for the company... and on a side note, the massaging robot chairs really are pretty awesome!

We don't have a Sharper Image in out town but on a recent trip I stopped into one in a mall and tried it out. Very nice. They also had a turntable with a USB cable so you an turn your old records into MP3's (or other computer files)... sweet!

Sure... here's the audition I sent. The actual script changed a little, but it's pretty much like this. I don't know if they're adding music or background stuff.

Just wanted to say, Dave, *awesome* audition. Wink You really nailed it. It's no surprise to me that you got the job. Very Happy
