Hello people,
My name is Mihail Somanescu (just using the M Soman as a far easy way of getting along with foreign customers).
I'm Romanian, 25 years and doing serious voice for about 2 years.
I'm pretty new in voiceovers since here in my country there's NO voiceover business.
Since the begenning of my voice'doing, I've put together a little homestudio and I think it comes along pretty well.
I hope I'll learn as much as possible from you more experienced vo's.

That is, by far, the very best Romanian we've ever heard here.
As a demo, I think it's too long. Maybe cut out many of the English pieces, since you'll be auditioning for either one language or the other, no?
You obviously have fun with the production end. That's important, and promising. Right now, it sounded a little too busy, with bells and whistles just for the sake of...well, bells and whistles.
I know you'll get better at it.
Your voice sounds a little muffled to me (but it is 7:00 am, and my entire being is a little muffled at that time), so you may want to check out all the Geek talk here about mics and sounds.
But you're going to be just fine.

Pleased to meet you.
Wonderful to hear your accent. I'm always searching for great examples of world dialects.
I'll throw in with Robert. Nice demo, but it may be a bit "over-produced". Sounds a bit muddy. You have a great voice, so there should be some more of it shown in the demo.

"The accent" has always been a problem of mine. I had clients ansking me for vo's in English with Romanian accent and I don't know "this" accent.
I have a Bachlor Degree in English and at school we were taught to imitate the "English accent"!
Thanks for your comments on my demo! It was done with 2005 productions, unfortunately with a dynamic Sure.
Now I'm using Rode nt2a at my studio wich sounds much better and a Neumann at a private studio when I'm recording for TV promos.

Thanks for your kind words.
The demos is that long because I'm using it just for "show off" but I always send max 60 sec of demo to clients.
The English demo is just a tryout, because it's not my strong point and I use it only for special projects.
I'm glad to be on board with real professionals!
