Last March, the very first conference for voiceover talent was held in Las Vegas! It was called the voiceover International Creative Experience - or simply, VOICE 2007.

There's been a lot of buzz recently about just who's going to be on the presentation roster at VOICE 2008. We haven't put that info on the website at www.voice-international.com just yet because we literally didn't know for certain - but we wanted to launch the website to get the word out that VOICE 2008 was going to happen this coming August!

We're now in the scheduling phase and we can tell you some of the incredible people who will be presenting at VOICE 2008. First, let me say, that if you were in Las Vegas for the first VOICE conference - you can expect a very different - and we think, much better - experience in Los Angeles. Voice123.com was one of our Premier Sponsors and helped make VOICE 2007 a huge success! We looked closely at every evaluation and made some major changes in the way the conference is run. One of the top requests from 2007 attendees was to have more presenters teaching to different levels of experience. So, we're bringing in more of the best and biggest names in the world of voiceover to teach you their insider secrets.

Here's a short list of some of our confirmed VOICE 2008 presenters:

Susan Berkley (one of the best- known VO coaches in the US)
Deb Munro (one of Canada's to VO coaches)
Marc Cashman (one of LA's top commercial voice coaches)
Pat Fraley (one of Hollywood's busiest voice talent & teachers)

We'll announce more as they are confirmed. Our goal with VOICE 2008 is to provide a diversity of opportunities for voice talent to take their performing and business skills to a new level. And we've done everything we can to keep the conference affordable. In the four days of VOICE 2008, you'll have access to some of the top coaches and voice talent in the world for about the same as it would cost to take a one-day or two-day workshop with one coach.

As someone who's never been to the US, this would be the perfect excuse for my first visit. And much as I love this wonderful virtual community we inhabit, it would be a delight to finally meet up with all you other voicerinos in the flesh (I think... Wink

).

Now all I have to do is land a couple of whopping gigs to fund the trip!
