Free demo Job to showcase my production services

First off I've checked out the site and though their seemed to initially be a little controversy about advertising services it now seems to be accepted that it is ok to do so - without wishing to stand on anyones toes (how very english) here goes......

This is the idea,

I'm new here but as an introduction and to advertise my services I'm offering to produce a free demo for the first person to provide well recorded material to me (via email or FTP).

I'm a professional audio engineer and I will do a full on production job on your material for free as a showcase to both your and my talents.

I state well recorded because I'm not interested in doing anyone a diservice and ripping off newbies who have recorded their voice with the inbuilt mic on their computer.

Cliches are cliches for a reason and you can't polish a turd. Capturing a good sound at source is vital - any questions about this email me and I'll do my best to help.

The services I give provide the sheen and artistry to your original material to present a professional Demo.

I want to provide a quality product that's going to reflect well on you and me.

Those not lucky enough to get the free demo get to follow the thread to see if I deliver a quality product or not - no pressure on me or anything. If it goes well then I hope people will hire me to help out with their demo's

My rates after the first job are $400 a demo - payable by paypal

As a sideline I can also build a bespoke website for you with encoded audio or video - what it is to be technicaly blessed.

prices vary due to complexity of projects but a ball park figure for a two or three page site with audio examples of your work, picture , biog etc would be $400

A little about me -

My name is Simon, I'm from the UK and I've been a professional musician for 15 years. I've much experience of recording in major studios having done various albums, session work, sessions for the BBC, major festival appearances in the states, mainland Europe and the UK etc etc I paid my dues.

For those that care

My studio centres around a macbook pro core 2 duo with 3 gig of Ram, running Logic Pro 7.2, KRK monitoring, Mackie Onyx pre amps - in a sound treated room with a nominally neutral/flat frequency response to ensure good travelling of mixes.
