Dear colleagues
I have a weekly internet programme of movie trailers to do over here in Switzerland and usually, there are a some english expressions in the text, normally no problem but here I'm simply not sure about the correct pronounciation:
1. How do you pronounce the word "anime" in English (those Japanese animated cartoons, you know?
2. How do you correctly pronounce the abbreviation "Sci-Fi" for "Science-Fiction" (and also Hi-Fi for High-Fidelity)?
I would very much appreciate some "enlightening" of you pros and... if you ever need to know how to say "Sauerkraut" in German, feel free to ask
Thomas
P.S. Ohh, and if you'ld like to check the actual trailers I did (for an air-check with some professional feedback... ), go to www.20minuten.ch and then chose the button "20 TV" on the left... _________________ Thomas C. Gass

Thanks, Dan, not only that you gave me a source for correct pronunciation, but also a possibility to have my posts checked against spelling errors... Well, thanks for the info and cheers,
