Ok..So I just received copies of imaging that I Voiced fro WSGL in Naples/Ft. Meyers, FL...here's the scoop..I usually do all my own production for demos...this time I had to splice together the liners

Some of the liners have different vocal levels...such as the melissa morae liner...is this too much of a negative to keep in the demo?

I also left some of Sean Caldwell in the demo since I feel I will have a greater chance at a secondary voice lead having a male/2nd voice balance.

thoughts??

thank you for your insight! It is greatly appreciated!

On any one day 1000 radio stations will be sounding exactly the same.

Multiple pats on the back for you yesterday. You sound as good today as you did yesterday and no doubt you will sound as good tomorrow.

Your demo's are about what YOU bring to the party and for the most part they shouldn't shout out loud ....Hey! Me too!

Just like a surgeon shouldn't operate on himself, you shouldn't do your own demos. Call a local radio station and hire one of their producers to do your imaging demo. It will be broadcast quality. That's what I did for my first imaging demo. It cost me about $350 with one of the top producers in LA. Not a lot of money, considering the average price of a commercial demo in LA is $1500.

Hail,

Actually...my Hot AC Demo was produced by Jay Johnson Creative..I however spliced together the separate liners to create my demo...

My CHR Demo on my Profile www.voice123.com/brookstephens

I produced those. I am the Imaging Director for the radio station that I work for. We use various sources for our production parts. I personally use Production Vault and Plug & Play Country both from Premiere Radio Networks. I am also a fan of the MJI & Rocket Science libraries.

I think, however, that the libraries I use are difficult and expensive for individuals to receive.

I also use Adobe Audition for the majority of my production.

hope this helps at least a little

Brook
