Hey Guys! I'm new to Voice123...very nice to err...meet you?
Anyhooo...everytime I upload a demo to submit for an audition, it sounds garbled. When I listen back to my original recording before uploading via voice123, it sounds crystal clear. Any tips?
My best always,
Amy |

Make sure you are saving it at 64k. That will help, but sometimes it still sounds a little garbled. _________________ 865-686-8925

| Hi Amy....welcome! It sounds garbled because v123 converts your file to 64K during the upload. You are probably submitting it at 128K. As George said, recording it at 64K will help some, but it will still have that kind of garbled sound. It's meant to make our auditions a low enough quality that they won't be stolen and used, but good enough to give the client a good idea of how we sound. It's meant for our own protection. |

Thank you so much, guys! You're awesome. I'll give it a shot.
Have a great weekend.

Hello Amy,
Welcome to the forums. Actually this issue can be caused by several reasons, what we can recommend is to convert the recording (as George and Tom recommended) to 64kbps, mono, 44.100Hz, Mp3. If the issue persists let us know and we´ll give you a hand with it.
Again welcome to the forums |

I've always saved mine at either 128k or 96k, 44.1khz, mono, and they seem to sound just fine. Who knows? _________________ Scott R. Pollak
