Character Vocal Song....very quirky

I keep forgetting Dolly Parton sang that song first!! Scott hüpfend lachen

I think any Alan Menken or Stephen Schwartz song would show range and work for children voices, as they are the Disney's masters.
However, I'd stay clear of the too famous songs, even though "part of your world" or "Colors of the wind" are not offensive, (just not "a whole new world") . Maybe you can use a bit of
"Meadow Lark" (baker's wife)
"gifts of love" (baker's wife)
"Lion tamer" (the magic show)
"home" (Beauty and the beast)

Ok..The same storm that knocked that billboard down is not just a storm. It's.....KATRINA THE HURICANE FROM HELL. Daphny the Dog (half toy puddle and half chiwawa) wants to sing this short song, but Billy the bad boy from the neighborhood wants to steal her spot light. WHO DO YOU THINK SHOULD GET THE PART?

I wrote these lyrics after a different hurricane, that knocked our power out in Houston for 3 days. The grown ups worried. I blew bubbles, met the neighbors (that I hadn't sold girl scout cookies to) and wrote these lyrics. I thought it was so exciting.

Scott....Thanks for the support. I would also like to point out that I'm reliable and drug free.... Not all people in the music industry are.

Claire......Wow, I really fell in love with that lion tamer song!!!! I've never seen the show. I'm not even sure if Wicked is playing, here in NY. There is a stage hand strike going on. Broadway has been crippled. Can you tell me more about the character? I don't know if she's 16 or 23. How did she end up in the circus?

It's a great song and it can be taken out of context and sung by a very young child if you want.

Well Anthony's hip hop MTV beat has made me rethink the melody. So here is the melody.

I would also like to say that I got a gig with a radio station playing a "new starlet" who sings and says wild and crazy things. (I'm thinking Elmo meets Lucy, from I love Lucy) I don't really know yet though because I haven't gotten the script yet.

The saga of "Daphny and the Hurricane" continues. Daphny has been swept into a drain pipe and her owner Delilah has come to save her from drowning. The coast guard shows up with Billy Bad boy too.

ANY ONE HAVE SOME HURRICANE SOUND EFX?

Deby--I'm still gonna work on the camp clip--I had tech issues trying to play along with the clip and hearing the drums. I have a solution and will mess around with it this weekend. Cool?

Oh yeah, here's a hurricane/wind clip...it's about 4 sec long but you can loop it.

Here is sample of a song that one of my jingle clients is paying me to sing. It's still a work in progress there's a 3rd verse and bridge. Do you think I went overboard on the compression. Roger copied it and pitch corrected, but most of engineering was mine, but tweeked by Roger.
