Hello all, thanks for the previous help on the Xenyx1204. Got it to work. I have one more issue:

I'm not hearing playback in the EDIT view window after recording. Yet if I move parts of the piece to the multi-track side, it plays fine.
Any suggestions?

Try this... OPTIONS - DEVICE PROPERTIES - WAVE OUT. Make sure your sound card is selected and the box "use this device in edit view" is checked.
