It's been a couple of months since I got a gig... I finally got another one... It's in Spanish, but I would love to hear your opinion... ding, ding, ding...

Gracias,

JC

Smile Hi Juan,
I have no idea at all what you are saying in Spanish, but I do love your voice and especially the start. It sounded powerful and exciting, I liked the deep voice you did and the sound effects. It made me anticipate hearing what you were going to say next as I loved your tone of voice. I like it, what ever you said sounded marvelous! Smile I'm guessing its about a boxing match possibly in Atlantic City? Is that right? Can you give us an interpretation in English?

Smile Hello Juan,

There is a big boxing match coming up this December in Las Vegas, between Ricky the Hitman Hatton and Floyd Mayweather for the welterweight title.

I think you would be great doing a piece for that fight in Spanish and American.

I wonder if someone could give you that job too!!!

P.S. Thanks for your kind words.

Muy bueno, Juan!

You may find this interesting... I typically NEVER do hard-sell or in-your-face types of reads, but one of my regular clients for the past 4 years or so has been the World Boxing Hall of Fame. I've done a number of super heavy v/os for their induction videos.

Hey Scott,

how is it going? Still in Dallas?

This is one of my few hard sell read, I don't like them either, but for this type of spot it is a must i guess... It was fun though.
I was checking your website and you sure have great stuff in there, maybe sometime you could give me some tips to market myself in a better way... I am really looking to do so..

Thanks man,

JC

Outstanding spot, Juan Carlos. It's boxing all around. I used to do the spots for boxing events at Foxwoods casino, although it's been a few years since I've done anything for them. Here's one I did back in '03 (voice track only -- their guys did the post production).
