Did a session today from a call out of the blue on Monday morning, from an agency back in Ohio that I sent stuff to for the better part of 15 years and nothing....all of a sudden they had heard an old demo on a demos page hosted by the studio I worked at a lot in Cleveland, and called to check my availability! (of course thinking I was in Ohio - managed to convince them to let me record here and direct me over Skype) That hasn't happened to me - - ever, I think! (With of course the exception of the one producer who used me for all his stuff, any other time it was audition and wait and move on....)

This was a non-broadcast AFTRA Category II for Goodyear Tires, will be on their corporate video as well as on their website (somewhere). Very cool, and yet another tire company on the resume (must be Akron, I've done 3 of em). I used to live right down the street from Goodyear Plant 3, the huge Goodyear sign shone right into my bedroom window back in my old college "flophouse" (aka the Jazz Crib), and I also played bass in the pit orchestra at the Goodyear Theater, so this must be the cosmic troika fulfilled....not to mention that I'll be there in a few weeks performing my comedy music at the sci-fi convention!

Hopefully things went well to their standards so I can hang on to them as a client, one never know do one....
