I am getting more and more private invitations!

Hey.. Smart cast is working for me BIG TIME. I'm getting the big money invites, not the small pay anymore, and I'm getting more and more private invites too from voice seekers. Heed the rules folks: Delete what you do not want and Smart Cast will determine what you need. And also, I'm sending my agents certain inquiries where they want privately to know how they can book me because I am AFTRA SAG. You see...you do not have to settle for $100. Keep the money strong and we all stay strong.

Do you think it's Smartcast just naturally getting smarter, or that the V123 team is finally starting to listen to you?
Either way, it's good, because I am getting some better SC and more private leads myself lately.

I have enjoyed an increase in work from the new Smart Cast System too. Clients have contacted me via personal leads and private messages more frequently and it appears to save them the lengthy audition process time. I have to go on the record to say I like the new system! Smile

But I don't understand why --- seekers were always able to use the search and send private leads. The only thing SC has done is change the way the cattle call leads are dispensed -- to whom and when. I don't know why it should change anything regarding private leads.
It would appear to me that the combination of private with SC leads is now becoming more transparent -- we never knew how many private leads there were before when we got one. Remember how they used to phrase it? "This lead is exclusively for you" -- when it might have been sent to 50 others -- there was no way to tell. Now you can see that information.
I for one don't submit custom auditions for leads where I was SC invited, but the seeker had already sent a few private leads. The very slim odds on getting it just does not seem worth the effort.

I continue to get emails to me privately...not on the 123 site or from it...but from people who look at me on the site and then contact me privately off my personal website or just email me. Interesting. But I see the money going DOWN. I still get audition notices that are $50 and $100 when I always delete the lowballers so in this respect, is Smartcast working? It is supposed to be alerted to those of us vo talents who do not ever take the low pays...this is my question...
