I auditioned for this about 6 weeks ago. Received an e-mail from the client yesterday. Attached is the submitted audition. I include this one from TOS as there isn't a forum for this kind of stuff over there (and there are a lot of us who respond to leads from both 123 and voices.) FWIW, I began the month-to-month thing on TOS in early Aug. Yesterday's note was the first feedback of any kind I'd heard from the numerous auditions I've submitted over there (maybe 50-60 in all?) Anywho...
djl
ps price range on the aud was $250-500; I quoted $500 (in keeping with the "ask for what you want/think you deserve" theme around here of late); total job was about 5 min of finished audio (non-broadcast/corporate promo)

Way to go David. There is hope over there yet. Did they pay you through Sure Pay so you show up on the list of recently hired?
Good job,
Craig

David
Hey! I've been wondering what you've been up to...since the Bob Bergen workshop.
CONGRATS!! I thought that was a great spot--your voice is pleasing on the ears!
Thanks for sharing and may more come your way!!

About time you re-appear, David.
I believe we annointed you as a "Can't Miss" prospect lo, these many months ago.
It's about time the Seekers realized it.
Nice job.
Voice On!

Congrats David!
Six weeks ago! Proves my point that we never know when the seeds we plant may sprout.
May all our gardens flourish.

Thanks for the kind words, gang. Not sure about the annointing, Robert; but as they say on ESPN, "Fill thine horn with oil." Yes, Craig. I used surepay. Seamless. Paid in full w/i about 12 hours of completing the job! That's a first (I'm still shaking down a client for a job I did back in June, booked through V123; next week I may have to start naming names).
Lori, it was great meeting you at the workshop a last month. It's always nice to meet the people behind the icons
Cip?!? Wow, I've heard Dick Cavett from a bunch of people, but Cip's a first. Now all I need is for my bank account to start mirroring his...
And yes, Allen; these seeds often take a while before they begin to grow. Who knows, sometimes.... I was testing out SourceConnect with Bob Souer over the weekend. I told him I thought I'd heard his voice during the Oregon-Cal game. He couldn't remember. I told him I wished that some day I'd have that kind of job-amnesia. Then, lo and behold, when these guys e-mailed me I couldn't for the life of me remember what the product was (TOS retains your quote and text of your reply, but not the sound file); fortunately I still had the submitted MP3 to jog my memory. Even then it was a bit hazy....
