Hello everyone! I am just now getting started in doing voice overs as I've been doing voices for comedy since I was a small child. I'm thrilled to have found a place like this to start allowing my experience in this field grow as well as meet people who share similar interests!
I am, however, extremely new to this. I'm just now purchasing the equipment necessary to get started, and everywhere I look seems to be giving more information as to what I should be getting! It's slightly overwhelming. As soon as I get my equipment, I'll get my demo out there and get started!
Anyway, just posting a hello! If anyone has any advice for this voice over newbie, please let me know. I'm starting here in the production field, but I specialize in more, "off the beaten trail" voices (think, "Meatwad" if you've ever heard of that name) and hope to one day be doing voices around there. But that is the mountain behind the hills I have to climb first.
Thanks in advance everyone! Very glad to be here!
