Hi gang! Just want to let you know about a very cool upcoming workshop in the L.A. area featuring Bill Holmes and Bob Bergen. I love these guys and I know you will too! The hotel where it is being held is offering a discount rate for seminar attendees, and price includes lunch both days! Bob is, of course, the awesome voice of Porky Pig and many other beloved characters. Bill is the coach I personally go to to help me keep my reads honest, real, and bookable. He is very good at helping you learn how to self-direct so you can make strong personal choices out of the gate!

The website on the flyer is a placeholder site... http://billybobvo.com yes? Or were those zeros instead of letter-os? _________________ Powered by coffee!

| I would kill to go to that! You know, I think I'm going to start holding back 10% of every job and save up to go to a big workshop like that. I really need to. |

You asked me about this...I get emails...so here it is gang: Shameless plug: My Cartoon Character Voice Workshop is all day Saturday here in Dallas October 6 and contact me or go on my website for info and to enroll: www.voicesvoices.com 214-638-TALK (8255) office voicemailbox and we'll get right back to serious inquiries. The fee is $275 and you work with wonderful scripts including TV shows and major movie stuff ensemble reads and children's books materials and so much more to hone your ability to produce and get work with characters. We also work with commercial copy that requires character voicings. Over the years, I've made so much money doing characters...that's a dimension of voice acting you should get good at if you're not now...yes, the workshop "introduces you" to techniques but it requires practice and experience and working out your own voices until they get really great! But this workshop will steer you in the right path. Thanks for reading this and hope you'll pass on this info to those who might attend. If the student is from out of town (and so many of our students are...) we help you with ground transport and even hotel advice etc. And this is a partial FUNDRAISER for a non-profit organization in Dallas that reads for sight-impaired/learning-impaired and puts printed materials on audio. _________________ Bettye Zoller: CLIOS, ADDYS, GOLDEN RADIOS, AUDIES, Member Voice and Speech Trainers Assoc., AFTRA SAG, 34 years a pro. |
