Sounds to me like you're a marketable voice as a young guy/student/younger brother.

Hit the agencies in NY and LA because you sound no worse or no better than any of the others. The difference is getting your nose in the door.

I got back into v/o about three years ago. Had no agent. Listened to the demos of other major pros at voicebank.net and worked like hell on a demo.

Sent it to five agents...followed up with phone calls...and landed one in LA. Now, I get some super auditions, but the competition is huge. So, most income I get from v/o I get from hustling my own gigs. That's my reality.

good luck

That's my (and a lot of other vo talent's) reality too and I've been voicing for several years now.. with agents in Chicago, LA, St. Louis, San Fran, Florida, VA and places I can't pronounce.. Just like your financial portfolio should have a mix of investments, your vo business has to include a varied mix of "sources".... Believe it or not.. every time I'm placed on hold and listen to "dead air" ... I see that as an opportunity for a vo gig. Expand on what you're doing and never, never give up the ship!

That's cool. Thanks man.

I used to act, but I preferred voiceovers because I like the intimacy of the studio, and also I get to be my own businessman.

thats just me.
