| I keep getting emails for gigs that require custom Demos. I can't really afford to go into a studio every time I need a demo. Should I go buy a recording program from guitar center to record from my computer? Is this the right approach? Please advise. |

Download Audacity - it's free.
Get a mic that plugs into your computer.
That's good enough for auditions, most likely. If you book a job, you're going to have to rent studio time and that's going to cut into what you make. Makes it a little tough to do business here like that... but, it can be done!!!
