Excellent Maxine!!

I spent my afternoon working on my marketing efforts as well... it took me a while to get focused.

Perhaps I'll follow your suggestion and send cards to past clients tomorrow!

Thanks!

Great stuff, Maxine!

I have a question: Where is the line between networking and spam? Is it spam if I email the production houses in the local area? How can I let them know I'm available without being a nuisance?

Thanks!

Hey Kim...call them directly. Make Voice Contact, ask questions, be friendly and then ask permission. "Would you mind if I kept you up to date with my projects in case something becomes available in the near future?" e-mail should never be the first point of contact IMHO.

From a web perspective, SPAM has a definition. In general, things I call "spam" aren't necessarily what those that monitor "the web" call spam.

The point here would be... "What do YOU call spam???"

The issue is that you may send the same email to two different people. One will consider it spam, the next may consider it an interesting subject.

I go for what Jon said above, "Call them" and establish a relationship.

(Agreement on the "cute picture")(however, I think its a good picture of a very attractive subject) There is a difference... Embarassed
