I posted this in General ChitChat also...

Some time after 1:00 a.m. this morning the entire Talkback forum was locked, and at least two entire threads disappeared.

I wondered when they'd decide criticism was unacceptable.

I'm hoping it's only locked temporarily while the Moderator is asleep and can't monitor, but that seems fishy, too, since a lot of people are on at late or odd hours, we shouldn't be confined to posting only when the Moderator is awake and online.

Everybody start taking screenshots of everying in Talkback, before it's all "disappeared"!

In the meantime, run to Julie's forum at voice-overs.com! She won't lock us out!

The Hello Community thread initiated by Alex, with responses from Amanda Geyer, Alex to Amanda, myself to Alex, and another response from Alex that I didn't get to read, is completely gone, as is the Guidelines post by Juan which I quoted from in the disappeared thread.

Anybody else notice other disappeared threads?

And Alex, in case you're thinking of deleting this, I'm taking screenshots for a permanent record.

The only thing I can do is lock or delete this thread and I do not feel comfortable about doing that. I would suggest that anyone who has more to say on this topic should follow Joe's link to keep it all there. I would guess that Alex will be checking it out so that would be the best way to be heard. If this thread dies (since Alexis posted the same thing on the other thread) I will take it down later.

Just a small request - Please don't actually remove this thread - sometimes people don't check all forums, so they might only see this thread here rather than at General Chit-Chat, and with Joe's link back to the other one (which I should have done myself, oops), we're covered.

Locking this one would be fine, I'd say. That's the right kind of reason to lock it, saying that the dialogue developed better on the other thread.
