|
|
Hi, and thanks for the opp to post a suggestion. Sometimes I'll get a private lead quite a while after I've submitted a demo/bid, and since the company name was initially confidential, when they reply it can be difficult to tell which demo "worked" and what project the client originally posted without weeding through deleted and expired projects. This happened recently and it was by accident that I found out that the client(from the UK) wanted an American accent (I had assumed they wanted a British accent, which I often submit). Is there an easier way to quickly identify the client when they send a private lead reply - perhaps by using the original ID number and date of submission? Otherwise it wastes time trying to figure out what voice they liked and why without a lot of back and forth - which also makes the talent look uninformed. Hope I'm being clear-- Thx. |

Hello Perry Anne,
at this moment it is quite difficult to track if a private posting is coming from an already submitted answer, or even to find to actual public lead originating the request, at this time your best bet is to get in contact with Voice123´s customer service, they’ll gladly help you track down the original lead.
In the other hand there’s great news. soon Voice123 will release a new messaging system that will allow you to see the tread of communications sent to you by one client (including the original lead), this way there will not be a need to go all over the place to find the related information. |

This is what I've been waiting for ! A thread of messages will be great. I've searched through hundreds of answered confidential leads to find the one I need after receiving a private lead from someone I've done a dmeo for publicly. Looking forward to your new changes. SOON I hope!
THANK YOU!

I, too, have spent happily frustrating hours ripping through old files to find out what I quoted and read for a job long-since answered and forgotten.
A date-less and better tracking system would be a boon, although it might behoove clients to remain on deadline as diligently as they expect us to....
Voicingly yours,
Robert Jadah |

| I've had to search old answers too and actually had to laughingly ask one client what I quoted in my response to his public post (yeesh). V123 thread will be great, save a lot of time. Thanks guys. |

I can relate to all of that. Will the new changes mean that there'll be a link in the private lead to the original one? That would be cool. With all the leads being listed as confidential, it's really makes it difficult. I just went through that last week.
God Bless.

Mark,
The avatar feature is working now; you can add a picture by uploading it to your profile on the forums.
Cheers. |

| Since we're talking about Private Leads here, I would love to see a tab where we can save leads. Sometimes I want to save a lead instead of deleting it. Don't know if that is possible as it would likely take up a lot of room if everyone was saving leads. Sometimes there are scripts in the lead that would take too long to find again. Or - maybe a search feature to find specific leads??? |

| That is grrrrrrrreat news Freddie. I agree that with the current system, when I get a private lead, I can't tell who it came from currently, what I quoted them etc....before the new system comes out showing the original lead for reference, I usually request that the client include their project copy and or company name when I send them my custom demo. Can't wait until it comes out though and it's great news! |
