I'm very new to voiceovers and would like to ask what the more seasoned voiceovers do about the "stars" in scripts? What do you put in there when responding? Do you just leave a blank or do you make something up?

I'm also new, but judging from an earlier thread elsewhere on the board, some people put in a fake name, or say 'blank'... Me, I used "Placename' and 'Supermegacorp' (probably won't get the Supermegacorp job, though). I try to put in something appropriate, and when a website is mentioned (and star'd out), I just use 'website-dot-com'.

Edit: THIS thread, over in The Pros.

I try to fill in the blank with a name or phrase that fits the script I'm recording. When I make the submission to the seeker, I make sure to point out that certain information was missing from the script, and that I used my own judgement as to how to fill in the blanks.
