Is there a thread here with studio pics? I haven't been able to find it if there is.

I'm slowly setting up a studio in my home office and was wondering how people handled setup and soundproofing. Do you have a separate room? Do you set up a soundproofing "cone of silence" on your desk? I'd love to see some pictures.

Jason, somewhere tucked in "Geek speak" there are several threads concerning studio set-up, soundproofing and I recall pics also.

Maybe someone else can pull the link, otherwise happy hunting.

Two pics of my outer sanctum - Office and noise making gear ISDN codec/preamp/headphone amp/amp/stapler etc.

Behind the door with the old advertising poster .....

Ther door weighs 400 tons (estimate) is the inner sanctum. I couldn't live with the grey accoustic tiles on top of the walls which are on top of the sound proofing which I assume is on top of ole smokey so I bought some nice material and a staple gun. After a two hour TV promo session I'm glad I don't have to sit in a grey room.

Here's my current messy setup. A clean desk is the sign of a sick mind, right?

In case you're interested, that's an Audiotrak AT-MIX602 mixer with a Samsung S11 mic that I borrowed until I get my real mic. I'm told the S11 is similar to a Shure SM58.

And, yes, that's a coat hanger mic stand.

BTW: I couldn't really find much over in Geek Place.

UPDATE: I cleaned up my desk a little and took a new pic.
