I was once a newb...."This script should be read with excitement! All scripts should be read with excitement! A campaign to raise awareness about orphans' puppies dying? How exciting!!

I was once a newb...."Hon, could you turn the TV down a touch? I don't want it to be too noticeable on this audition"

I was once a newb...."You got tickets for the Def Leppard concert? Well, I do have a session tomorow, but what the hell! Let's go scream our heads off...oh, and bring the Jack Daniels!"

I was once a newb..."Oh, you wanted me to spit the gum out, not just place it on the script stand?

I was once a newb..."Yeah, I know you sent me the script to go over, but I didn't finished the whole thing. However, I did make some notes about changes I thought would be nice..."

I was once a newb..."$100 for a national commercial?! Well, shoot yeah. Where do I sign?"

I was once a newb..."Pop filter, shmop-filter"

I was once a newb..."Oh, I thought the studio provided water."

I was once a newb..."Dubya,dubya,dubya is just as good as double-u, double-u, double-u"

I was once a newb..."Levels?"

I was once a newb..."A client paid me on time!!!" *does happy victory dance by mailbox*

..ok, I still do that one.

Actually, I still do that one sometimes. Asian clients who write in Engrish and American clients who just can't write. I should probably just shut up and read what they gave me.

I do happen to like the Jack too.

well Engrish is different....and I did correct a ESL guy who was doing a dialog about a European soccer player and he had him playing for the wrong team. I felt my Woman Card slipping away... Embarassed
