Hey Dave!

Here's what I think. The sample sounds very read, not natural. Try to take the copy, and put it in "Dave speak". Put certain emphasis on words that are used to sell the product. Good luck to you.

Like the voice; clear delivery.
I agree with Pax....it sounds "read".
As yourself.... would you talk to your friend like that? Loosen up a little...be yourself. Very Happy

Thanks Pax and MichaelG for your opinions, I have been doing voiceover work for the TV station I work for, which i do video editing and egnineering work mainly. So far no takers on voice 123 but haven't done alot of answering ads lately been real busy so your input was very valuable to me..gonna work on being me.....

You've got a good voice, David, but I agree with the others on your performance. Although, to be fair, the spot you read doesn't really lend itself well to any other interp.

Practice with some more copy from TV, radio, print ads, whatever -- and avoid the "Come on down to Rusty's used Bananas" spots ... those will never let you breathe.
