Bit of a quibble going on about the initial project, the number of words, duration etc.
I have increased my rates significantly (although still less than I'd usually charge) - they're being totally unrealistic. If they choose to go ahead, then great, a massive learning experience. If they don't, then I've still learnt a lot & I don't feel bitter about being taken for a ride.
Will let you know which way they jump.

Well, now I know. They rejected my new quote. I discovered (too late), warnings on the forum about this particular job posting. Wish I'd seen them in time to heed them!
Lessons learnt.
From now on I shall only be replying to jobs that offer the right rate for the job, & sadly there seem to be precious few.

I agree with many of you in that V123 should only allow postings which are reasonable, or they should have 2 different membership areas, one for pro's and one for those who want experience at any price.
