Since this is the "Selling and Buying" forum, it seems like selling a service would be just as appropriate as selling equipment.

I would love for the forum moderator to clean up this thread.

I also see no difference between posting equipment or services for sale. The forum title IS "Selling & Buying".

It appears to me this is an older thread started possibly before the "rules" were established?

Asa Newbie, I don't know Simon or his value/abilities. Therefore when us newbies look at this thread, it looks bad for Simon when it appears this is now allowed.

I'd ask (Freddie??) to pull the whole thing and ask Simon to repost or just pull out the negatives...

If in fact this is now permitted.

It was never really disallowed, just discussed. It really hasn't been a problem like some thought it might be. Just a couple of guys on here offering services including me, no problem. I agree, Simon should request that this be modified. I know that at least some people have employed Simon.

Believe me, Grant...neither Simon nor Colin would disappoint. They both dedicate themselves to you and their craft.

And yes, most of us feel they're welcome to post those services here because they also contribute to the boards in so many other ways - especially Colin.

They're not carpet-bagging, in other words.

Here in CT you can find top notch studios that will produce quality demos like the two posted here for around $400. I had these done at the Edge. You can listen to more of their work at edgestudio.com

Having posted what I posted above, I think that if Phylis can advertise her services as a coach, I don't see why Simon can't advertise his services as well.

Anyone can advertise their services. This was an old thread. It hasn't been a problem.
