Hey Kevin!
I think you have a very rich voice. Stay away from the Italian accent. Sounds too forced. I'd suggest maybe adding some sound fx to that demo. I recognized most of the scripts from previous auditions through V123. Keep truckin!

| What I would like to know is: how is the delivery and energy?

I think your delivery is great. I'd like to hear a little more energy though. You have a good range of inflection, but because your voice is so rich sometimes it comes off as being somewhat monotone. Best to you.

Thanks Paxton!
Lack of energy is a comment that I hear often, but I don't know what to do about it. Any suggestions?

Kevin:
Oh great, yet another in a long, snaking line of strong, deep voices. Just what I need.
How about taking up mime, Kev? There's no future here....
No seriously, I enjoyed your demo. I thought maybe your introduction and first piece and Without Sound carried a hint of forced bass. But the Mermaid Cafe was stellar and, to my ears, the true and unforced you. Maybe open with that, or the Starting Out clip?
As to lack of energy, I used to get that a lot, too. Something about those big pipes moving at the speed of smell or something, I guess.
I suggest acting...even the odd, small amateur role. Believe me, a rustling audience will get you focused on drama. Failing that, try to pretend you're acting. Act out the actor.
I also find that actually memorizing small bits of text allows me to really work it. I can also suggest doing some takes where you - to your mind - are really taking it over the top. On listening, you may find that you actually hit the right tone.
Voice On, guy! You'll be fine.
Now, about that mime career....
