Darren. looking on this message board, I see you get around. Most of the questions you have asked all over the place are answered somewhere, so look around.
Let me be frank with you...this is not path to quick riches. It can be rewarding on several levels, including financially. But the truth is - it takes patience, time and, yes, money. You need to invest in training, a quality demo, decent equipment, and promoting yourself. Without that, people won't really give you a listen.
Stick with it, and you may get somewhere. |

I totally agree with Scott, to follow the voiceover artist path is not easy, being talented and having the right tools within and around you is the key.
Breaking in to the field can take perseverance, a great demo, good training, access to recording facilities, marketing and, of course, talent.
It is a great and beautiful career; it just takes a lot of commitment and work.
Welcome to the forums Darren. |
