So, I had an audition back in December at a studio here in LA. They liked my voice, took an archive of me doing some age progressions and of my ability to do ADR, and have replied to be back in January 24 saying I was definitely in their database of actors but things were slow.
I've followed up on 3/25 and 4/13. Should I keep following up once a month? Is that too much? I haven't received a reply since January 31st.
Just wondering what the protocol is. I haven't dealt w/ too many studios here in LA yet so I'm new to this. |

By all means give people your news but make sure it's something interesting and relevant to why they would use you. Never get in touch for the sake of getting in touch. _________________ British voice over www.philipbanks.co.uk

Thanks. I know one person out here who works with them who does "follow up" emails, which is why I did the first two times, but I didn't feel good about it.
I've read up in other threads about the postcards announcing work, etc, so I think I may do something like that.
Thanks Philip! |
