Chris,

Your voice, when you're acting natural, is very in demand right now. I would stay away from those hard, forced sells and focus on what you're really good at, sounding like your average 20 something! There's a huge market for being 'that guy' and I can really hear it on your second spot and some of your cartoon intros. I'd probably take that first spot right off your demo, even though it shows some versatility it didn't feel authentic to me, just really forced. One bit of great advice I received a long, long time ago which helps me tremendously...take those headphones off!!!

Andrea,

Headphones ey, scary you knew that. Note taken. If memory served me correctly I thought I read to have the headphones on, but hey this is the wacky world of VO. 20 something is hot these days. Cool. If my true age was really knwon you wouldn't think that, but you are only as young as your voice.

I have made some adjustments, and will go back to the mic and try to record more 20 something copy. If you have a chance let me know what you think of my new demo.

Thanks a million again.

Chris.

Razz

Hey Chris!

Loved the sports themed spots. Very Maddenesque. I'd maybe consider shortening your first spot, so you can have room to lengthen some of the later spots like Nick JR. Also, I'd consider changing the Green Day on that spot to something more kid friendly. Just a suggestion. Best to you.

Pax
