Recently signed on for a WEBINAR with Susan Berley and The Great Voice Co out of New Jersey and am consequently now aware of her services and offerings. I would be interested to hear from anyone who has had experience with Ms. Berkley and The Great Voice Co.
Thanks and ciao,

A well established part of the "Let me teach you how to make money with your voice" culture and like most, short on success stories. No blame or negativity intended here.
If one sets out on the road to voice over heaven there is a 95% chance you won't complete the journey so the question for your coach or any other is how he or she can help you get to where you would like to be and be sure they know your intended destination.
Find the voices you admire, those making a living or more and then discover who put them on the road to success.
The trick to buying training is to ensure that you get out of it more than the trainer. Most buy because the trainer knows more than student but that isn't enough. Have clearly defined goals and then find the coach who will help you achieve them.
Most who teach "how to be a successful voice over" aren't.
This posting is not intended to tarnish the reputation, services or good standing of Susan Berkley and The Great Voice Co, it is merely a cautionary note to all would be voice over artists who spend a lot of money with no return on their investment. _________________ British voice over www.philipbanks.co.uk

| Here here....Well said. Oh by the way, if anyone needs to find a good cartoon vocal coach in NYC, I highly recommend Paul Liberti. I just took 2 of his classes and I had a blast and learned sooo much. |

George: I contacted her via email about private coaching once. I didn't receive a response. So I figured she did the lion share of her business in seminars, and didn't need to pick up the extra side dollars.
I moved on.

Thanks very much to each of the three of you for your kind and congent responses. I'm on a good course, and my internal alarm was sounding that "this particular direction isn't probably useful for you, Jorge." But when you're flying by the seat of your pants, you prevaricate now and then.
So you steeled my spine, reminded me of my gut, and gave me good courage not to be foolish.
And saved me some money better spent with Joyce Castellano!
Thanks invisible amigos!

I've also just started communication with them. So far they seem like they know their stuff, and are very encouraging.
They are a busy bunch! It's a hopping place, but I do get replies to my e-mails.
Just my 1/50th of a dollar,

As training is ongoing, and as there are a variety of ways to make it happen, I'll be interested to see how The Great Voice Co works out for you, Joe, since you're here in LA.
I'm going to give it a pass now as I'm booked up in two great classes through July already.
By the by, Joe, saw your web-page, and its pretty inviting! I'll be keen to see how you tweak it.
Also saw you're from Cleveland. I grew up down the pike in Columbus, though I've been here since '83. Had some good times out on that big Lake up where you were though!
Best,

Hey George,
Seems like we've got a whole Cleveland gang here (Vic lives there).
I lived near Columbus for about 10 years (in Bexley), and my sister's place is nearby.
This is just like meeting neighbors I never knew,

I don't know anyone in Cleveland and have not even been there.
I just wanted to be included.
